Blue Is The Warmest Colour is is an independent French film with a production budget of $5.4 million. The film as about a life changing journey for Adele as she falls in love with another young woman, Emma. This film took a worldwide gross of $6,627,524 which is impressive for an arts films. It would be inticing to an audience because of its awards, critical reviews, the message behind it and that it is something different to Hollywood movies. However it's audience is very limited as it is rated an 18 due to the strong sexual scenes contained in the film. Also modern day audiences don't really like to read subtitles which could also limit the audience as it is a French film. Along with this, it is only shown in Art centres because it is an independent film.
